Looking for support that doesn't put your health at risk? Try a Zoom Self Lymphatic Drainage (SMLD) session. I will guide you through a SMLD sequence, and this guidance will support your nervous system balance at the same time! Calming, nourishing, balancing. Just what you need to get through these challenging times. You will be wearing loose fitting clothes, and receive a session while on your couch or recliner!
As a Certified Lymphatic Therapist, I use Manual Lymphatic Drainage to reduce swelling associated with Edema, Lymphedema, and Inflammation. Some of the many conditions that benefit from lymphatic massage include Lymphedema, Fibromyalgia, Pre & Post Surgery, Arthritis, Prenatal & Postnatal swelling, PCOS, Whiplash, Asthma, Venous Edema, Lipedema.
Lymphatic Therapy is the primary focus of my practice. I complement this with other forms of bodywork described below, which are used to address other physical symptoms.
Through assessment and gentle treatments, this structural modality creates higher levels of organization throughout the body, reducing pain and increasing ease of movement. This technique addresses all the tissues of the body, including the organs, nerves, vessels, fascia.
While holding and listening to the body, the cranialsacral "tides" come into harmony, unwinding restrictions as the body returns to wholeness. The client may experience subtle shifts very profoundly during the session, or the changes may be become apparent after the session.
MLD is very helpful post liposuction. In non-Covid times, I see people with Lipedema post Liposuction (WAL), an important treatment for Lipedema.
For all other elective Liposuction and elective Cosmetic Surgery I am currently referring to other practitioners on my REFERRALS page.
